What is Maths Whizz

On the 25th of February at Paihia School in Te Ngahere we went on a website called Maths Whizz. Math Whizz is a tool for helping your maths education. It's good for both helping you overcome your  weaker topics while also building on your strengths. When we got on we were handed a piece of paper with our username and password. When we got on the website we had to type in our username and password to login then we had to answer math questions and after we answered all the questions we got to make an avatar then we had to do panui. What I thought was hard were the measurement questions because I don’t understand how much is a centimeter or millimeter. What I thought was easy was the questions 1253 x 10 because I just had to times the number by tens which was easy. What I think I could do better next time is maybe get better at maths so I can get more points.

Mind-blowing facts about cybersmart

Last week on Monday in Te Ngahere the people that did not go swimming did cybersmart. We had to go to the digital dig slide on the Te Ngahere website and make a copy. After that we had to go to slide 2 which had a image of a chromebook keyboard and take a screenshot of the shortcut to screenshot and put it on the next slide. Then we had to take a screenshot of our desktop. On the next slide It asked us what was the shortcut to find the find bar which was ctrl f. After that we had to watch a video which told us the keyboard shortcuts. When we finished watching the video we went to the next slide where we had to answer all the keyboard shortcuts. I'm not going to do the rest because I wont have space to write. What I thought was frustrating was where we had to answer all the keyboard shortcut because I had try and find it out on Google. What I thought was easy was where we had to put in our face in a frame because we just needed to take a picture of us and put in a frame. What I think I can do better next time is that I could of drawn better on sumo paint when we had to make what we were looking forward to this year.

Turbo Touch

On Thursday January the 30th at Paihia School Te Ngahere went outside and played a new game called Turbo Touch. Turbo Touch is a game where you get into a group of 3,4,5 or 6 and you and your team pass the ball to each other sideways, backwards and forwards just no kicking. If you drop the ball you handover the ball to the other team. To score a touchdown two passes must be made to a open the active zone. What I thought was hard was trying to score because the ball keeps dropping. What I thought was easy was passing to each other because we were good at passing. What I could do better next time is to come up with more strategies so we get more points.
